19 nov Ave Cities Network celebrates extraordinary and ordinary assemblies in Toledo

Ave Cities Network celebrates in one of its member cities, Toledo, ordinary and extraordinary assemblies which members of the various destinations took stock of actions and activities during 2014 and established a roadmap for the coming year. The assembly has passed in the Palacio de Congresos of Toledo where attendees have analyzed the impact the participation of the Ave Cities Network in several strategic tourism fairs, in Spain, South America, Asia and Europe and how have conducted numerous marketing activities, included fam trips, press trips, trips blog and workshops. They studied too the implementation of other initiatives that give continuity to the actions of boosting the brand image and strengthen the position and knowledge of this network, its tourism products (Avexperience and Renfe Spain Pass) and attractions of its 20 locations.

Along this year the Network organized several meetings and reinforced the presence the Web in the international press, with special attention to the media in South America, Asia and the rest of Europe. Finally, attendees were able to test the importance of the presence of the Cities Ave Network and its 20 destinations in social media as a perfect link to dissemination of proposals and tourist offer of the association and 20 cities member.

Besides the celebration of the assemblies, the president of the Ave Cities Network, Gregorio López Serrano, hold a working meeting with the Minister of Employment and the Economy of the Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Home. Both have shown satisfaction with the progress of the collaboration between two institutions.

The assemblies of the Network in Toledo were preceded by one tecnic meeting in which progress has about works related to the actions of immediate promotion, scheduled for next month. These include the participation, this month, at the tourism fair INTUR and the organization of commercial activities and familiarization trips for tour operators and international media.


AVE Cities Network
