19 feb Ave Cities Network celebrates the first Assembly of 2015 in Villanueva de Cordoba

Ave Cities Network has chosen Villanueva de Córdoba, one of its 20 member cities, to hold its first regular meeting of 2015. During the Asambly in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of this Andalusian town, members of different destinations part of this association have approved the Plan of Actions for this year, the budget and the Communication Plan, in order to maintain the presence of the Network in the national market and especially  internationally. Among the most important fairs of the tourism sector to which the Network attend this year include: FITUR, in which Ave cities just participated and which has strengthened trade relations with major Asian tour operators and travel agents as well as with different OETS ; the B-Travel (former SITC) in Barcelona; Expovacaciones in Bilbao; Inland Tourism Fair of Villena; Valladolid INTUR or Tierra Adentro in Jaén, among others. Internationally, the Network will be take part in ITB Berlin; WTM and ETOA CITY FAIR in London; Munich’s FREE; Paris MAP; ANATO of Colombia or TTG Rimini.

Ave Cities Network will participate in various Trade Missions in collaboration with Turespaña and Renfe in Canada, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Berlin, Frankfurt, London, Rome, Paris, Lyon, Finland , Oporto, China and Japan. To which must be added the familiarization trips or fam trips and press trips, also in collaboration with Renfe and Turespaña, by journalists and international tour operators. They will know the advantages of traveling by AVE and destinations and products as Avexperience  and Renfe Spain Pass.

In the Assembly in Villanueva de Córdoba, this association has also agreed to continue working with Rail Europe for the promotional campaign “Connexion” in China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This year, the outdoor advertising campaign is also maintained in the destinations that make up the Network and the media..

 

Moreover, in this 2015 the Network will keep collaboration agreements with Turespaña, Renfe, Autonomous Communities, Paradores de Turismo, NH Hotels, Fundación Pequeño Deseo and will continue to pursue the web www.avexperience.es and social networks as essential to publicize the activities of the Network and its 20 destinations.

AVE Cities Network

AVE Cities Network is an association of tourist destinations in Spain connected by the high speed train that appears with the aim of promoting the cities that integrate under a common strategy and two products: Renfe Spain Pass and Avexperience. Currently, the AVE Network Cities consists of the cities of Alicante, Antequera, Barcelona, Calatayud, Ciudad Real, Córdoba, Cuenca, Lleida, Madrid, Malaga, Puertollano, Segovia, Seville, Tarragona, Toledo, Valencia, Valladolid, Villanueva de Córdoba, Villena and Zaragoza.

To facilitate travel to tourists visiting Spain and from other countries, articulates the Renfe Renfe Spain Pass service. A new way of traveling that makes travel, flexibility, being able to see several destinations in the AVE Network Cities in the same getaway. You can choose as many trips as you like (4, 6, 8, 10 or 12) and purchase up to 6 months in advance. Renfe Spain Pass is available in two categories (Economy and Business) and two age groups (children and adults); includes all and AVE in long and medium distance trains. Places are booked through Internet travel agencies or stations.
