In order to get to know Palencia better, today we propose a route through its magnificent historic center, through free guided tours. These visits give you the opportunity to know all its corners, monuments and some anecdote and you will have a good time.


If you visit Palencia you should not pass up the opportunity to visit its historical center. The Cathedral, the Convent of San Pablo or Calle Mayor are some of the great attractions that it has. Walking along Calle Mayor you will discover its beautiful modernist and baroque buildings. Sprawling the historic center you will find religious buildings such as the convents of San Pablo, San Francisco and Las Claras and the churches of San Miguel, San Lázaro or La Virgen de la Calle.


During the months of July and August, different stages are held in Palencia, allowing the visitor to get acquainted with the history and extraordinary artistic and cultural heritage of this city.
