22 may ‘From Zurbaran to Picasso’ in Seville
The Abelló Coleccio has in Espacio Santa Clara unique works of renowned Andalusian artists and some pieces on display in Spain for the first time.
Until 12th June you can enjoy of Sevilla the exhibition “From Zurbarán to Picasso. Andalusian artists in the Abelló Collection” at Espacio Santa Clara.This exhibition is divided into six sections comprising: sacred and profane stories, Sevilla Urban and festive, still lifes, historical Vanguards and contemporary artists, Carmen Laffon and finally, in the highest room of the convent of Santa Clara is exposed for the first time in our city known as the Alcubierre Album. An album that represents the most comprehensive collection of ancient Andalusian artists drawing that exists in private hands and where you can see masterpieces by Pedro de Campaña, Luis Vargas, Francisco Pacheco, Juan de Mesa, Alonso Cano, Antonio del Castillo or Bartholomew Esteban Murillo, among other artists.
The collection brings together Abelló in Space Santa Clara unique works of renowned Andalusian artists and some pieces on display in Spain for the first time.
