29 Apr Soláns House, one of the best modernist buildings in Zaragoza
Every Saturday morning Zaragoza Turismo organizes guided visits to this beautiful building with unique architecture and decoration.
The Soláns House was built and designed by the architect Miguel Angel Navarro between 1918 and 1921 for housing the industrialist Juan Soláns. Later on before the damages suffered during the Civil War, ordered a new reform of the property in February of 1943, that never came to be realized.
After many years of abandonment was rehabilitated by the City of Zaragoza and hosted the United Nations Office of Support to the Water Decade until 2015. At present, Patrimonio del Ayuntamiento is assessing possible future uses of the building, as they must conform to the permitted For the emblematic character of the building and its cataloging as BIC.
Visits on Saturdays, of an approximate hour, can be made in two passes, at 11am and 12pm, and the maximum number of visitors per visit is 20, due to the limitations of the building.
The booking of tickets can be made at any municipal tourism office or at the phones 976.20.12.00 and 902.14.20.08.
