Featured events, interesting exhibitions, activities designed for children or festivals of the most varied are some of the proposals of Madrid for this spring-summer. To its wealth in heritage, culture and gastronomy, the capital of Spain always offers alternatives for all tastes.

We started with two exhibitions that you should not miss:

-Piety and terror in Picasso. The road to Guernica.

 Until the 4th of September. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first time Guernica was exposed, the Museum presents this exhibition, which discusses Picasso’s vision of modern warfare, as well as the unique iconography of agony, perplexity and horror that this violence brings.

-Photoespaña

Until the 27th of August. Every summer Madrid becomes a reference for the world of visual arts and photography. With exhibitions in the main museums, rooms and art galleries, as well as various activities around the theme chosen each year, PHotoESPAÑA offers the possibility of knowing the latest trends in photographic art as well as the latest projects of the most internationally recognized artists.

-World Pride Madrid 2017:

From June 23rd to July 2nd, the city celebrates the most important world event of the LGTBI community with an extensive program of cultural and leisure activities. Everyone is welcome.

-Veranos de la Villa

From June 30th to September 3rd. Veranos de la Villa reaches the 21 districts of the city in a bid to bring the culture to all citizens (in 2016, 80 percent of the activities were free access, and the rest were priced between 3 and 12 euros ), to all public and neighborhoods where traditionally could not enjoy this offer. The program, which runs from June 30th to September 3rd, contains cultural activities of all kinds (music, cinema, theater, dance, alternative shows …) that take place in multiple spaces throughout Madrid, with the objective of rediscovering the urban territory.

-Disney in Concert: A Journey through the World

22nd-23rd June. He travels through the great hits of films such as Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King or The Little Mermaid with the most complete symphonic show in Disney Studios. It will be in four functions of 90 minutes each, more than 80 musicians and projections of films in high definition.

-Leanos: the exhibition. The last wild territory

After passing through Alicante, Gijón, Murcia and Chile, arrives in Madrid Oceanos: the exhibition, a sample based on the film footage of the documentary “Oceans” that have seen more than 12 million viewers in 40 countries and presenting the most Beautiful and spectacular never round.
