This month, the capital of Spain proposes that you dance to flamenco rhythm with Flamenco Madrid; Enjoy the great festival of literature with the Book Fair; Of exciting exhibitions; Of circus shows and parks to enjoy with the whole family.
From May 17 to June 11
Between 17 May and 11 June Madrid becomes flamenco thanks to the celebration of a festival that brings together stars and young values of singing and dancing. The venue for this third edition of the festival is the Fernán Gómez Cultural Center of the Villa, and some of the artists who will perform are Marco Flores, Jesus Carmona, Antonio Canales and Juan José Jaén El Junco, among others.
Madrid Book Fair
From 26th May to 11th June
The great festival of literature in Madrid brings together in the Retiro, its most central and famous park, a good number of booths in which two editors and writers live together for two weeks, in direct contact with an audience eager for novelties. All a cultural celebration outdoors. In its 76th edition, Portugal will be the guest country.
Treasures of the Hispanic Society
Until September 10th
The Museo del Prado hosts until September 10 this exhibition, consisting of some 200 works from the funds of the Hispanic Society of America in New York, an institution founded in 1904 by Archer Milton Huntington (1870-1955), a passionate collector and Scholar of Hispanic art. Includes archaeological pieces, medieval art and Spanish painting of the Golden Age and the nineteenth century.
Madrid River is a huge recreational and cultural enclave as much for the historical monuments and facilities of leisure and culture that pool, as for being a point of reference from which to be able to contemplate and to contact with the monumental Madrid.
Circus in spring

The shows of this cycle that takes place in the Teatro Circo Price have as common denominator the contemporary circus. It involves young artists, with experience and international travel, who work their staging from the dramaturgy. In the month of May we will be able to see Intarsi, of the Company of Circus Ela.
