29 Dec New Year’s Eve and King Parade in Zaragoza
Zaragoza wants to welcome you with open arms so you can enjoy a New Year’s Eve in style. If you go, there is a very special plan waiting for you so that the last night of the year is the most fun. At 11pm in Plaza del Pilar, grapes and party bags will be distributed, while the wait for the new year’s entrance will be entertained at the rhythm of an orchestra. When the chimes sound, the party will continue.
In addition, Zaragoza is developing a Christmas program of the most complete and varied. Plaza del Pilar is the ground zero of those activities with a giant Bethlehem that impresses. In it also runs the X Christmas Show and an artisan market, in addition there is installed an immense ice rink for skating and icy mountains to descend in sleigh. Children can ride ponies, enjoy the Snow Park Adventure and ride attractions, enjoy workshops, puppets, parades, storytelling and more.
On the other hand, one of the attractions of this program is the Cavalcade of Three Wise Men of the East that will begin at 6 in the afternoon. The Three Kings will be accompanied on this ride of the spirit of Jules Verne, the tireless traveler, and his characters. Phileas Fogg, Miguel Strogoff or Captain Nemo will be some of them, with floats inspired by their trips to the center of the earth, to the moon or to the deep sea, as well as inventions that preceded their time like the gyrocopter, the rocket, the tv or the submarine. The promotion of reading and the freedom of creation and thought are the fundamental axes of this procession.
