19 May Puertollano, a destination for new experiences
If you need to disconnect from the routine and look for new experiences that will recharge your batteries, Puertollano is the destination you need to make a break this Spring. In addition to its monumental and cultural wealth, this place stands out for its many places to spread and enjoy nature, such as the Botanical Garden, from the 19th century in the heart of the city, or the famous Paseo de San Gregorio. Also highly recommended is the Park – Museo del Pozo Norte that will transfer us to the mining past of this destination Avexperience. Another essential of Puertollano is the hill of Santa Ana, where you will see the city from another perspective and, if you like, you can practice climbing.
If you prefer hiking, the Path of the Miners, the Greenway of the Coal and the Silver, are your best allies. You can also go by bike to the Cerro de Buenavista, among other mountain bike routes, and the magnificent Dehesa Boyal, will leave you with your mouth open.
If you want a bit more action and feel the adrenaline, there is a permanent 4 × 4 circuit, near the river Ojailén. And from there to the Natural Park of the Valley of Alcudia and Sierra Madrona, whose landscape of contrasts is impressive as well as the Roman archaeological site of Sisapo.
